I started Ulch Mulch by accident - and a little out of punishment. At 15, I got grounded and was stuck with early morning football workouts and a long list of chores. Somewhere between mowing the yard and watching YouTube videos on how to cut grass better, I discovered a passion for lawn care. I got good at it - good enough that neighbors started referring me to their friends.

By 16, I was juggling a handful of lawn accounts and side jobs in between high school football and baseball. I couldn't take a
"real" job because of sports, so I leaned in - started advertising, picked up landscaping work, and kept growing. When COVID hit and school shut down, demand exploded. I went from 7 yards to 40 that summer - and 80 the next year. Lawn care was my entry point, but it quickly became a stepping stone into something bigger.

Over time, I discovered a deep passion for high-end
landscape installation - especially pristine construction and top-tier stone masonry. Today, Ulch Mulch has full crews specializing in irrigation, lighting, hardscape, stonework, landscape installation, and long-term maintenance. We've built our company by hiring the right people, treating them like family, and focusing on quality that speaks for itself.

Being born and raised in Vestavia has helped too - the relationships, referrals, and belief people have had in me have meant everything. We now have 14 team members and continue to grow. We're still learning every day, constantly pushing to be better, and driven by one simple goal: to be the best. and work for the best.
